i had an ok day yesterday. i didn't die, no one i knew died... howver, however, there was a murder/suicide in my neighborhood in great falls. for a generally peaceful and private neighborhood with long driveways and rolling hills, and neatly manicured lawns, and the privacy the long drives afford, this has really shaken us up. it's freaky when you see it on the news, too. "christmas massacre". geeze. bad things can happen anywhere.
people who have family members who are getting old, should make sure that "things" are in order. don't be selfish, or self serving in the mess, just make sure the person is going to be taken care of. don't worry if it hurts someone's feelings. the person who will need the care may never thank you, but if you truly have the person's best interest at heart, nothing should be an issue. no use saving the person's money, if they end up in nursing care, it will be spent anyhow. do what you might not be able to do tomorrow, today. life is short, play hard.
