today was spent "at the track". i took some photos but my digital camera (olympus stylus) isn't up to speed. it is fine for point and shoot at birthday parties or stuff like that, but woefully inadequate at taking photos in quick suscession. i need an advanced camera it seems for only 6 events per year i would use it at.
i have to suck it in and buy photos from others. hear the wind sucketh?
this is not the day's winner, as i left they were still racing. notice the use of helmets. they take the corners pretty sharply... and sometimes i guess the person has fallen KERPUNK out of the automobile and onto the road surface, today's was asphalt over mecadum... not the ideal road surface for these cute iittle cars. and safety first, right?
that photo is mine, some others are in a file in my gallery thing here. and here is a link to the triumph club's member listing. this site has much better photographs of many different models. they were in production for i guess 18 years with modifications and improvements.
BRITISH CAR WEEK IS MAY 26 THROUGH JUNE 3 (this year)
